Lombardi, Frank Frank Lombardi, 96, of West Haven, husband of the late Eleanor DeLeonardo Lombardi passed away at Ct Hospice in Branford on Friday December14, 2012.He is survived by his three children, Lenore (Ralph) Martinelli of North Haven, Stephen (Ann) Lombardi of Northford and Lucia (Chris) Borzillo of Madison. Beloved grandfather of Nicholas (Julianne) Martinelli of Rockville MD., Paul ( Jeanine) Lombardi of Weston, Carlo (Tara Grace) Martinelli, of Los Angelas, CA., Cynthia (John) Sullivan of Guilford, Mary Lucia (Bruce) Chee of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mark (Caitlin) Lombardi of Clinton. Great grandfather of Anna, Andrew, Elenora, Brian, Tyler, Luca, Makena, Mailey, Owen and Nora. Frank was born on November 23, 1916, son of the late Antimo and Carmela Manco Lombardi. He was predeceased by two brothers, Angelo "Charles" and John Lombardi and three sisters Jeannette Peckingham, Annie Ominus and Rose Sabin. Frank served his country in World War II in the 97th Infantry Division. He worked at Planck's in Milford, Greist in New Haven and the Journal Courier/ New Haven Register for 49 years and 11 months. He was a member of the American Legion, New Haven Typographical Union where he served as Secretary Treasurer and the Interfaith Caregivers. Frank was a parishioner and daily communicant of St. Lawrence Church in West Haven. The hours of visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. His funeral procession will leave the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Lawrence Church. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum.
