He was a brilliant man and I have nothing but fond memories of him; his being a caretaker, and his love of gardening most above all. He was the closest friend my late grandmother Grace had in the last couple years of her life and he was always there to help when needed at his own personal will.
I wish I knew Frankie at a more personal level, but even if I didn't, I will always be glad that I met him and hope that I live to become as good and long lived a man as he was.
He is a perfect example of what we all strive to be. We love you; Rest in paradise, Frankie.

I am sorry I missed the services I just learned of his passing today. Frankie was such a loving, caring and supportive man who's absence will be noted by many. May he rest in eternal peace.

Sorry to hear of Frank's passing..I worked with him at the New Haven Register. As a matter of fact he work with my dad and grandfather there as well..that's when it was on Orange St.
He was a very honest and most important a very strong Union Man always fighting for what was right in the labor movement..
May Frank rest in peace..Jimmy Ballard
