Frank Richo Obituary
February 18, 1940 - May 19, 2024
Frank V. Richo, 84 of Bethany passed on May 19th at Yale N.H.H. Survived by his wife of 53 years Jeana (Julius), sons Frank (Jessica), Bill (Molly), and a very large loving extended family. He was predeceased by his son Dan, parents Louis and Ruth, and brothers Ben, Phil, and Louis. Frank grew up in Westville at the base of West Rock and always had a story about the friends and adventures of childhood. Frank and Jeana raised their family in Bethany enjoying gardening, Boy Scouts, sports, and all the school activities. They had great family camping vacations throughout the US and Canada. Meeting people was his favorite pastime. He was always helping someone. Frank was an active member at Our lady of the assumption Parish in Woodbridge. Frank will always be remembered for his smiling face and corny jokes. Calling hours will be held FRIDAY from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Peter H. Torello & Son FH, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends are asked to go directly to Our Lady of the Assumption Church Saturday at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd., Woodbridge, CT 06525.

My Uncle Frank was the funniest and most fascinating man I ever knew! Quick wit, silly jokes and stories galore! I always admired how he was always on the go, always helping someone and always making people smile. I'm gonna miss coming out to visit, doing our morning lottery scratchers and talking about all the ways we're gonna spend our millions.

Frank could make everyone feel like his best friend even if he only knew you for one day. He was a wonderful example of how we should live our lives. God please hold him in Your Loving Embrace.
