Joan Bray Lipford

LIPFORD, Joan Bray Joan Bray Lipford, 71, of West Haven, wife of the late Paul Lipford, passed away unexpectedly, February 6, 2011 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She worked as a Medical Affairs Coordinator for Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals in West Haven until retiring in 2002. She loved to travel in the United States and take cruises to Bermuda; enjoyed playing Bingo; and especially loved being with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Seamour of West Haven; her sons, Paul Lipford of West Haven and Tom Lipford and his wife Teri of Madison; her grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Andrew, Taylor, and Morgan; her great-grandson, Cameren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Marie McWeeney McCarthy; her stepfather Howard McCarthy; her father, Richard Bray; son-in-law, Ronald Seamour; sister, Maureen Doron; brother-in-law, John Doron; and nephew, John Doron. Family and friends are invited to call at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Thursday from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, West Haven. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church on Friday.
