April 30, 2025
Joseph N. Durante, of West Haven, lovingly known as Joe, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2025, at the age of 78.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 8th, from 3-7 p.m. at the West Havn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, New Haven, on Friday, May 9th, at 10 a.m. Please meet directly at church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America. To leave an online condolence for the Durante family and to view the complete obituary, please visit our website www.westhavenfuneral.com.

It is with love and Joy that I remember Joe. The vacations we took to Old Orchard Beach when Joey was just a baby: Mr and Mrs Ardito came along to help Georgette with him. The nightly trips to the boardwalk until they finally tired out. Truth be told we adults were probably more tired!!
Also good times at parties, weddings,and just hanging out.

Having worked with Joe for many years I, like everyone else, enjoyed many laughs. Especially when he and Snookie, his sidekick, teamed up. They were the perfect comedy pair and so fun to watch! You never knew what antics they would get into. It was like watching a real life sitcom. Now they can be together again and entertain everyone in heaven. RIP Joe
