I met Joe about 45 years ago when we were both in the construction trades. We hit it off right away, in spite of me not being a Yankee fan. After not seeing him for many years, we became close friends again about 15yrs ago. I know how close he was to Maryann, his son and daughter and their wonderful families. The Morrell's and Nortons have lost not only a father and grandfather, but we have all lost a "good guy". Don't worry guys "Pa" is at peace now.

God Rest Your Soul. You made everyone you touched a better person. You took it upon yourself to show our youth how sports can help you grow up. My recently deceased father called you his best friend. Rest assured your legacy of love and devotion will carry your family through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are sent to them. With love and condolences

You are all in my thoughts and prayers ....
"The Broken Chain"
We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
