Julia M. Latella

LATELLA, JULIA M. Julia M. Latella, 83, of West Haven passed away peacefully October 13, 2010 after a long illness. She was the wife of 63 years of Alfred Latella. Mother of David (Debbie) Latella and Joseph ( Janine) Latella. Grandmother of Ashley and Nicole. Sister of Rita Gallo. She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Margaret O'Connell, her brothers Michael J. O'Connell and Jeremiah D. O'Connell and a sister Mary Salemme. Mrs. Latella was employed at Peck Bindery for many years until her retirement in 1992. The family would like to thank the Harborview 3rd floor nurses and aides for their care and compassion. The hours for visitation will take place FRIDAY from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home SATURDAY morning at 8:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Lawrence Church at 9 o'clock. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to Harborview Manor, 308 Savin Avenue, West Haven, CT. 06516.
