RASCOE, KEVIN ANSONIA: Kevin Rascoe, 44, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2011, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Fairfield. He was employed as an Operating Engineer for C.B. Richard Ellis Property Management in Stamford for many years. Kevin enjoyed attending his children's swim meets and son's soccer games. He also enjoyed car shows, fishing, video games, and was an avid fan of boxing. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a loving son, Kevin J. Monroe Butler of Bridgeport, mother in law, Margaret Favreau of Ansonia, and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Emmett Rascoe, maternal grandmother, Gatsy Parker Johnson, and paternal grandmother, Alfreda Butler. Visiting hours for Kevin will be held on Friday Nov. 25, 2011, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday Nov. 26, 2011, relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service and celebration of his life at 10:30 am (DIRECTLY) at the Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress Street in Bridgeport. Still hard to believe that you are gone. You always had a smile no matter how hard you worked or how tired you were. Out of the three building engineers, Kevin you were the quietest one. Yet, you were the one who said something slick and quick. I'm so used to seeing you in the building. It's hard not knowing that we will never see you again.Rest in peace.
To the family, may God bless you all. He is the only one that can guide you through this rough time in life. Stay strong and always remember Kevin as a great man, a husband, and father. James King (Stamford)

Kevin, You were a great man, a wonderful father and a loving husband. Even though you have touched so many other lives, I feel blessed that I am one of the lucky ones who was able to call you not only a friend, but also family. You always made me laugh. When I was going through one of the hardest times in my life, you still made me smile. I want you to know I appreciate that. I am going to miss you, not only because you were my friend, but because I could not have wished for a better partner for my best friend. I love you and miss you very much. I know God has a plan, I just don't understand it.. but I do know we will see you again someday friend.

Dear Michelle, Kayla and Kevin Jr.
All my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of your family. I became friends with you very recently thru another special friend of mine. But i feel such a great sadness for you. I see way to much of this in my profession. But never really sinks in till its a friend and how a life can change. kevin will always be with you. Losing the ones you LOVE is never easy but if you remember the "GOOD TIMES" you will make it thru. LOVE & FRIENDS will get you thru your sorrows. God Bless You and your Children.

Dad,
We love you, we will never forget you, and you mean so much to us. You never really appreciate something until it's taken away from you, and we are sorry we didn't show you more how much you meant to us. You were a great Dad and you were always here for us when we needed you. You took care of us the best way possible, with lots of love.
We love you so much and miss you so much and so does Mom, Duncan & Cooper.
I hope you and Pe-Pa are having fun in Heaven.
We will always love you.
Love Always,
Kyla & Kevin Jr

To The Family:
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord
