David "Dave" Rascoe Jr., age 61, of Baltimore, Maryland, welcomed into heaven on January 31, 2026.

David was born on June 1, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Rosa Lee Rascoe and David Rascoe Sr. He was preceded in death by his father, David Rascoe Sr.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Jenn Berlinger; his beloved children, Samara, Austin, and Devin Rascoe; his loving mother, Rosa Lee Rascoe; his sister, Sharon Burnett; and his cherished niece, Tamika Burnett, and great-niece, Morgan Burnett, along with many extended family members and lifelong friends.

David was a true entrepreneur at heart. For more than 30 years, he built a respected career as a loan officer in the mortgage industry, helping countless individuals and families achieve homeownership. Over the course of his life, he founded and operated multiple businesses, including hard money lending and renovation companies, driven by vision, determination, and an unwavering work ethic.

A man of deep Christian faith, David was incredibly spiritual and believed strongly in positivity, purpose, and manifesting one's destiny. He shared uplifting and inspiring messages across his social media platforms, spreading encouragement and motivating others to believe in themselves and their potential. He also lived his faith through action, spending many years tutoring children in Baltimore City through an after-school organization connected to his church.

David was truly the life of the party-kind, welcoming, and always making sure no one left hungry and everyone left smiling. He enjoyed golf, watching football-especially the Ravens-and kept himself busy with home improvement projects, never one to sit still for long. David also cherished quiet moments, often rising early to watch the sunrise, reflecting his appreciation for peace and gratitude. He loved traveling to Fenwick Island, Delaware, with his beloved "road dogs," Fenwick and Ruby, moments that brought him great joy and peace. He was strong-willed, resilient, determined, and deeply devoted to his family and friends. David cherished good old-fashioned phone calls and maintained lifelong friendships, valuing real connection and loyalty.

A memorial service celebrating David's life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Vaughn Greene Funeral Home, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, Maryland 21133.

David's legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the encouragement he gave, and the love he shared so freely.
