CELEBRATION OF GOSPEL HOPE FOR EMILIE FLORENCE CAMERON
In Loving Memory of Emilie Florence Cameron, who was born on Thursday January 27, 2026, at 4:09 p.m. and passed away on Thursday January 27, 2026, at 8:34 p.m. at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in
Baltimore, MD. Emilie is the fourth child of Scott Caldwell and Jessica Noel Gumpert Cameron and the loving sister of Margot Arlene Cameron, Cornelia Carrol Cameron, and brother Wylie Caldwell Cameron, all of
Norfolk, VA. With complications sited early on, hope, all possible precautions, and the most advanced neonatal care available were taken to assure the safe arrival of this precious child that is now in the presence, love, and care of Jesus Christ. The family gather in grief, yet not without hope. They entrust Emilie to the mercy of God, and cling to the promises that is secured for us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Even in sorrow, they proclaim that Christ has conquered death, and that nothing can separate them from the love of God in Him.
In addition to her loving parents, her two sisters, and her loving brother, others that mourn her loss are her maternal grandparents, Barton Charles Gumpert Jr. and Mindy Arlene Gumpert; and her paternal grandparents, Norman Caldwell Cameron and Linda Ann Cameron.
The family are providing a Lunch Reception on Saturday February 7, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1600 Colonial Ave.,
Norfolk, VA 23517. The Service of Worship will be in the Sanctuary of the Church at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Clay Warden will officiate. Private interment for family only will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Oman Funeral Home and Cremation service are honored to serve Emilie's family.
