Madeline Mauro Corrone, 87, of New Haven passed away on September 29, 2023. Born in New Haven, she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa Vitaletti Mauro. In addition to her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her sister Mary Ann Mauro. She is survived by her friends, who she considered her family, especially Louise Benson, Kathy Ford, Michael Mele, Peter DeSio, Tim Wee, and many others. Madeline was very proud of her Italian heritage. She was a past member of the Columbus Day Parade Committee; and faithfully marched in the parade, for many years. She was a devout Catholic and a former communicant of St. Anthony, St. Aedan and currently Holy Infant Church. Prior to her retirement, Madeline was not only a master nail technician but also an instructor who taught many manicurists the craft. She was full of life and a good friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 5, at 11 a.m. in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Rd., Orange, CT. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
