I only met Marcus Hall one time. It was at Jean's wedding at the Owenego. As he walked past me the two of us made eye contact. We introduced ourselves with just a few nice words and moved on as the music was playing and everyone was having a good time. I said to Adrienne after that I had met Jean's father Marcus and just from our eye contact I knew he was a well liked man , a good father and a great leader. I only regret that I never got to know him better. Your entire family and friends should be very proud.
Peace.

Passing on my deepest sympathies to Doug and the entire Hall family. It is a time of reflection with so many brilliant rays of light that have been cast onto others by Mark.

Condolences to the Hall family from Jane and Jerry Shaw
Marcus regaled me with stories of Goodland FL, but I think he loved catching black fish in Long Island Sound, among the beauty of the Thimble Islands, just as much. I will sorely miss his company on our jaunts, either in his boat or mine. It was always special.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the Hall family and friends for the loss of a great person.
When MGS purchased Hall from Mark in 1994, I spent a lot of time with Mark, Doug and Judy learning the Hall business to help make both company's successful and carry on the Hall machine design.
The Hall machine design continues to be very successful and will be so for many years to come. Many of our customers say that if there is ever a tornado in their plant they would just get inside a robust Hall machine and would will be ok.
Mark and Doug were instrumental in designing our first fully automatic cable winding machine in the early 2000's. It continues to be a successful product along with the Hall traditional wire, cable and fiber handling machines and systems.
I have always said that if a person does not like Mark Hall from their first meeting, that person probably does not like anyone.
Mark is one of those people who everyone liked. He was kind, loving, polite, smart and a brilliant design engineer. His legacy will live on and the wire and cable industry will deeply miss his contribution to its success.
