Michael Greenhill Obituary

GREENHILL, MICHAEL JOHN, SR. Michael John Greenhill Sr., 37, was born May 5th, 1973 in Newport News Virginia and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 27th, 2011. He grew up and was raised in Oxford, and was a graduate of Seymour High. He worked for the family business T.M. Precision for 11 years, and later moved on to work for United States Surgical. There he formed a true and lasting bond with all of his co-workers, who in 2007 praised him for becoming owner of his very own company, Idyllic Technologies. His true passion was for fishing, fishing, and yet more fishing! He was a member of many tournaments including the 2000 Bass Federation, 2001 Lunker City State Team, 2001 CT Bass Federation State Team, Divisional State Team, CT Bass Masters, Southern CT Bass Anglers, CT Tanker Bass Masters, Milford Black Bass, and NEBA. He is survived by his devoted wife and life companion of 19 years Arisel Greenhill, a son Michael Jr., and two stepsons Jose Ramos and Angel Santiago. His memory also lives on through parents T. Michael and Lucille Greenhill, and sister Kathleen Greenhill of Cheshire. Two cousins John and David Jackson whom he considered brothers. Also uncles Kenneth Greenhill, of Milford, and Adam Greenhill, of Woodbury. Aunts Erin and Geannie both of California, and Claire and her husband Richard Jackson, of Oxford. Brother-in-law Ariel Alvarez, of Hamden, and sister-in-law Maria Alvarez, of Bridgeport. He had an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss him dearly. "That you would set a time limit for me and remember me...All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes." Job 14:13-15. Friends may greet his family on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Graveside services will take place on Thursday March 31st at 11 a.m. in Lawncroft Cemetery 1740 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield.
