BLOMBERG, NORMAN A. Norman A. Blomberg, 82, of North Branford, loving husband of the late Gloria Mangini Blomberg, died February 19, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus. He was born in New Haven on January 27, 1933, son of the late Harry and Edna Page Blomberg. He worked as a Master Pipefitter for Buckingham and Routh Company in New Haven for many years until retiring. He was a lifelong member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 777. He loved watching and going to the New York Yankees games, enjoyed Women’s UCONN Basketball, and was an avid reader. He especially loved spending time with his family around the holidays. He is survived by his daughter, Robyn (Donald) Migliozzi; his son, John Blomberg; his brother, Robert (Katie) Blomberg; his granddaughter, Samantha Migliozzi; his great grandchildren, Kyla and Troy; his lifelong friend and brother-in-law, Tony Ardito; his loving niece, Debra Ransohoff; and his grandniece, Olivia Ransohoff. Family and friends are invited to call at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, (Rte. 22 So. at Rte. 80.), North Branford from 4-7 pm on Friday. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be private in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
