Pasquale Cofrancesco Obituary
Entered into rest peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Oct. 30, 2025. Pasquale Cofrancesco, 81, of New Haven; beloved husband of Helen Selmont Cofrancesco; born Jan. 20, 1944, son of the late Pasquale and Rose Accurso Cofrancesco. Pat retired from the New Haven Parking Authority, having previously worked for the United Way and United Illuminating. He loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Pat served as a former New Haven City Alderman Ward 17.
Besides his wife, Pasquale is survived by his three sons, Anthony (Pamela) Cofrancesco, Paul (Mary) and Pasquale (Kimberly) Cofrancesco, Jr.; grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, Anthony, Austin and Jessica Cofrancesco. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Lynn Cofrancesco, and sisters, Tina Hopkins and Rosemary Gargano.
Family and friends may call at MARESCA & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Chapel St., at Wooster Sq. New Haven Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Private burial services on Thursday in All Saints Cemetery. Please Offer condolences at marescafuneralhome.com .

To a great dad, father-in-law and grandpa! You will forever be in our hearts . It´s going to be very hard to go on without you, but we will always cherish all our special memories we created. We will be thinking of you each time we´re scratching our lottery tickets, taking a trip to the casino or teasing mom/grandma on how many wrestling matches she no longer has to watch .
