Patricia Scopp Obituary

Patricia N. Scopp, age 82, beloved wife of 60 years to Henry F. Scopp, Sr. of West Haven and formerly of Milford, entered into eternal rest on July 22, 2017. She was born on June 16, 1935 in Milford and was the daughter of the late Russell and Pansy Nugent. Mrs. Scopp was a bookkeeper for Colonial Wood Products in West Haven. Patricia was an active member of St. Ann Church and past president of the Ladies Guild. She was also an honorary member of Devon Rotary. She enjoyed knitting and traveling but most of all, spending time with her family especially the grandchildren who lovingly called her "Grammie." In addition to her husband, she leaves four children, Henry F. Scopp, Jr. (Erica of Milford, Geralyn Thayer of West Haven, Lisa Scopp ( Sean Powers) of Bethany and Rebecca Williamson (Richard) of Derby. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren and two brothers, Daniel Nugent (Lucy) and Lawrence Nugent, Sr.(Lynn). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 28th at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church 501 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD.
