Pauline Passmore Obituary

With heavy hearts the family of Pauline Martha (Zolkiewicz) Passmore, of Wallingford, CT, announces her passing on July14, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Thaddeus and Pauline (Pomykala) Zolkiewicz; and wife of the late Archie H. Passmore.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Ferri Stalmach (the late Charles Stalmach), Susan Benigni Cone (Scott Whiles), Robert Sr. (June), James (Deborah Jerzyk), and Donald; grandchildren, Donna, Rachel, Jessica, Tina, Krystal, Marc, Robert Jr., Jonathan and Thomas; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Amelia Drehs, Sophie Albertini, and Mary Zolkiewicz; and her brothers, Henry, Thaddeus, Edward, Michael, and Vincent Zolkiewicz.
Pauline graduated with the class of 1946 from Lyman Hall High School. She had worked at White Way Laundry for a short time, Wallace Silversmith and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 1995. She also helped manage Arichie's business, Panda Trucking.
Visitation will be at The Wallingford Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 19th, from 4 to 7pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9am from the funeral home when the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter and Paul Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am. Interment will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery in Wallingford. Pauline made a mark where ever she went whether it be because of her smile and friendliness, her humor or “tell it the way it is” personality. Her family was her world, (even before the Yankees) and many people throughout the years became her family, as she had that much love to give. She will be missed dearly. May you Rest In Peace and be with the angels.

I knew Mrs. Passmore for only a few yrs. I feel her and her family welcomed my friendship with open arms. Like I had known them for ever. She was a sweet lady in my eyes. So with that said. May God rest her soul. God bless

To all.... I will miss Pauline. From the earliest times I can remember, trying to get me to eat oatmeal, to her making me coffee and fried eggs and bacon on hard rolls on our visits back home, there are more memories than time & space has that just can't be written down.
