Reine (LaPointe) Miessau 95 of East Haven passed away September 23, 2021 at Branford Hills. She was born November 18, 1925 in New Haven to Rene and Edith (St.John) LaPointe. Reine is survived by her son, Kenneth Miessau (Nancy) of Westbrook, four grandchildren, Gina Sullivan (Peter), Jason Rispoli, Joseph Miessau (Jackie) and Jeremy Miessau. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren, Melissa Sullivan, Peter Sullivan Jr., Hanna Rispoli, Jake Rispoli and Miles Miessau. Reine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen P. Miessau, daughters, Kathy Marra and Barbara Davis, son, Daniel Miessau and siblings, Eva, Edith and Edward LaPointe.
Reine was an angel on earth and her love for her family was endless. She spent her entire life taking care of others and never hesitated to help those in need. Her faith in God was very strong and carried her through many difficulties in life. She made an impression on everyone that knew her and she will be greatly missed by all that love her.
Family will receive mask wearing friends on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven with burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
