Robert DePino Obituary
Robert DePino, 79, of West Haven, died peacefully on April 11, 2025, at Whitney Rehabilitation Center in Hamden. He was born in New Haven, on October 4, 1945, a son of the late Pasquale and Josephine Benevento DePino.
Bob worked in the security department at the Hospital of St. Raphael for 30 years, prior to retirement. He was beloved by the staff and patients at the hospital. Bob loved to travel. Going on a cruise, or "cruising" as Bob called it, was his favorite, and he loved every one of them. He also enjoyed going to the casino with his sister, AnnMarie.
Bob is survived by his sister, AnnMarie DePino, Jeff Kuhn, a close family friend who was like a son to Josephine, his cousin, Roseann Savenelli as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Pasquale DePino.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the Iovanne Funeral Home Inc., 11 Wooster Place, New Haven, from 10:00-12:00pm. A Catholic service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30am. So sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. I worked with him for years at the St Raphael´s Cancer Center. He always had a smile for the patients and staff. A kind soul indeed. My condolences to AnnMarie and Jeff and the rest of Bob´s extended family.

So sad to hear of Bobs passing- I had the pleasure of knowing him while working at St Raphael McGivney Center-Bob was always making each patient feel special and had a great sense of humor- RIP Bob- it was a pleasure knowing you my friend!
