Robert Allan Rosner, 80, of West Haven, Connecticut, passed away on November 11, 2025, at his home. Bob was born on August 15, 1945, in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Amity Regional High School and from the University of New Haven with a bachelor's degree in business management. He joined the National Guard in 1967 and served until 1973.
In 1965, he joined his father at their family-owned business, M&R Frosted Food, a food distribution company that serviced schools in the state of Connecticut. Bob was an avid golfer, basketball, and tennis player, and worked as a tennis umpire for many years at the professional and college levels. He was a longtime resident of Oronoque Forest Condominiums and served as its President from 2021 until his death. The older son of the late Milton and Ruth Rosner, he is survived by his loving partner, Jamie Gerard, his daughter, Annsley Rosner Slawsky (and her husband, Gregory Slawsky), and his younger brother, Barry Rosner. He was predeceased by his son, Jared McCabe Rosner. He was the adored grandfather of Jared and Susannah Slawsky, as well as uncle to Molly Rosner Anderson, Abigail Rosner Weinzimmer, and Robert Rosner.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the JCC of Greater New Haven, at 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge, CT.
