ROBERT T. WARNER D.D.S. Jr.

WARNER, ROBERT T. JR. D.D.S. Robert T. Warner, Jr, D.D.S, 84, of Hamden, died on March 10, 2016 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Jean Murdoch Warner for 59 years. He was born in Grosse Pointe, MI to the late Robert T. Warner Sr. and Nan Conway Warner. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame and the Faculty of Dentistry of McGill University in Montreal, he practiced dentistry in Hamden for 40 years. He was a past president of the New Haven Dental Association and a reader at church. His interests were sailing and playing piano songs of Broadway and sheet music of the 1950s and onward. He leaves 3 children: Jeanne (Peter) Kohutanycz of Franklin, MA, Robert (Geraldine) Warner of Forney, TX, and Jennifer Starrs of Southington. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister, Elizabeth Glennon of Ocala, FL, and a sister-in-law Diane (David) Barker of Guilford. Friends are invited to visit with Robert’s family on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10-11am in the BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave. Hamden, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Mt.
