Rosa Didiano
Rosa Ventrici Didiano, of East Haven, died peacefully on February 27, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Giacomo Didiano.
Rosa was born in Maierato, Calabria, Italy on August 24, 1934, to the late Giuseppe and Vittoria Veneziano Ventrici. She had worked as an assembler at Tag-a-Long Pocketbook Shop for several years. Her family was her world. She cherished every visit from her children and grandchildren. She especially loved to cook for them every Tuesday night. She was a faithful communicant of St. Anthony Church.
Rosa was a loving and devoted mother to Stella Cesarato, Rosa (Vincenzo) Gagliardi, Maria (Gennaro) Gagliardi, Vittoria Didiano, Natale (Claudia) Didiano, Felice (Doniela) Didiano and Salvatore Didiano. Sister of Giuseppina and Concetta Ventrici and the late Domenico, Vincenzo, Nicola, and Pasquale Ventrici. Loving Nonna of Daniele, Katia, Vincenzo, Anna, Antonio, Anna, Vincenzo, Gennaro, Rosamaria, Gabriella, Sabrina, Sofia, Felicia, Giacomo, Roberto and Andrew and 11 loving great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 25 Gold Street New Haven Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. There will be no visiting hours. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
