Russell Hitchcock Obituary

HITCHCOCK, RUSSELL Russell Hitchcock, 65, of West Haven, passed away December 20, 2013 at CT Hospice. He was born June 11, 1948 in New Haven to Wilbur and Mildred (Randall) Hitchcock. Russell is preceded in death by parents and wife, Marilyn (Pierson) Hitchcock. Russell is survived by brother, Joseph Wilbur Hitchcock of Canaan, Maine and sister, Jeannine McEwen of New Haven and numerous nieces and nephews. Russell was a US Army veteran and retired employee of the US Postal Service. He completed the postal service having worked there many years. He enjoyed doing puzzles, gardening, fishing and decorating his home for the Christmas holiday all year long. Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Sunday (TODAY), December 22, 2013 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral service will be Monday at noon in Clancy Funeral Home. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery with military honors. www.ClancyFuneral Home.com
