Sally Page Obituary

Sally Page
February 28, 2024
Sally Lou (Connors) Page, age 92, of Branford, passed away peacefully with family members by her side on February 28, 2024. Sally was the daughter of the late Gertrude Connors and George Willetts, and wife of the late Bernard H. Page. Sally is survived by her brother Darby (Terry) Connors and sister Patti (Kenny) Inman. Sally was a devoted mother to her four children, Pam Megquier (Ron), Gary Page, Jeff Page (Gina Macdonald), and Jill Scoville (Greg), a loving grandmother to Elissa (John) Sawyer, Elliot Megquier, Connor (Tiffany) Page, Brendan (Chelsea) Page, Bridget (Greg) Peters, Rachel and Shannon Page, Bradley (Catie) Scoville, Jared (Rachel) Scoville, and her 12 great-grandchildren.
Sally was a lifelong active member of the Stony Creek Congregational Church and she served numerous roles from Sunday School teacher to Philonians to Missions Committee. Sally helped her husband, Bernie, run the family business Page's Sport Shop for 35 years and also worked as a caregiver for many years.
Her greatest joy in life was raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very kind and gentle person. Everyone who knew her understood just how proud she was of her family. Sally will be deeply missed by her family and her church family.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 at the Stony Creek Congregational Church, 192 Thimble Island Road, Stony Creek, with a funeral service at 11:00. Burial will follow in Stony Creek Cemetery.

Growing up in Branford, everyone knew of the Page family. Becoming friendly with Jill I had the pleasure to meet her mom. What a sweet and kind woman ,and was always inquiring about my family! She will be missed by a lot of people. Sending my prayers and condolences.

Mom was very upset to hear of the passing of Sally. She is Bernie’s cousin, and was always very close to him and Sally. She was one of the sweetest, kindest ladies, we know. She always had a big smile for everyone that she came in contact with. Mom is 97 years old now, and didn’t know that Sally had passed until she noticed that she didn’t get a birthday call from Sally on March 2 as she always did. We are all very saddened to hear the news, and send our deepest condolences to the entire Page family. Marjorie (Page) Trella and family
