A celebration of Stephen's life will be held on Friday Nov. 20, 2015 in St. Paul Union American Church, 150 Dwight St. New Haven at 11 o'clock. Viewing in church from 9-11 a.m. Interment will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed at colonialfunerals.com

Daddy there is not one day that goes by when I'm not thinking about and missing you like crazy!!! I had so many things to tell you that day but I guess God had other plans... I know you're always watching over myself and the rest of the family but my life has never been the same without you Daddy... I needed you then and need you now, I just have to trust God & know things are going to get better.... I'm grateful to have had you as a father and your memory will forever live on.... I always called him my big brother. He was always there when I needed him & even when I didn't. We'd have our moments when we'd argue, but would always end them by saying "but I still love you." I'm missing him right now, but will hold on to the memories. To my family, we need to build up a fence of support around Auntie B and Aunt Hattie. God bless, love you all.
