We are recent neighbors to Roydon Road. We did not know Charles well but enjoyed exchanges as he helped people in his driveway with various vehicles. I was happy to be able to share my tomatoes, both ripe and green! A kind man who loved his family and others.

Mr Charles as we. Was a great neighbor when I lived on Roydon Rd. His door was always open. and there were plenty of great conversations that we had. He was a definite friend and a father figure Whatever equipment that I needed to borrow it was never a problem just go back there and get. You know where it is. He would say. He loves his kids. And he was alway given them advice and he was there for support. He will be missed RIP Mr Charles. Love you man.
My condolences for out to the family may you comfort in knowing he s in a better place. Right. Now. May The Good Lord continue to bless the family. His Legacy lives on. You have it from here.

Words can not express love my family has for "Mr. Charles" and his family. We were neighbors 25 years ago when my son Vince "Lil´ Vince/ VHall" was born...and remained neighbors for years following the birth of my daughter Tremaine. As they grew older, I never had to wonder where they were if not in my back yard they were hanging out over Mr. Charles & Tank´s house with Will, Jamal, Corey...then with his grands Deja, Jade Courtney...his house was a kid´s paradise!

The neighborhood children had snow sled races down Roydon Road (very dangerous...not recommend)...bike races, basketball competitions, tag, water balloon fights, mini bike rides, and unbeknownst to us cinnamon challenges and more! The Roydon Rd neighbors were like family and Mr. Charles was the one in the center of it all!

Charles ALWAYS had a kind word or advice to give...he knew it All and was always willing to share. He definitely left this world a better place, we are forever indebted and he will continue to live in our hearts!

To the Maddox family, please know that the Hall family treasures the memories and are praying for your strength during this time.

Love Mrs. Wendy (Hall) Rawlins, Vince and Tremaine
