William Lambe Obituary
After graduating from Edmonds High School, he joined the Navy. In 1956, he married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Beaudin and had 2 sons. He went to work for Union Oil out of Edmonds, Washington and drove tankers for 35 years. Boyce retired in Cle Elum, Washington and kept busy volunteering for Kittitas County Search and Rescue and delivered heating oil to residents in the Cle Elum/Roslyn area for DeVere Oil. He also enjoyed volunteering for the Putnam Senior Center in Cle Elum.
Boyce was an outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish and spend time teaching his young sons to ski at Snoqualmie Pass.
Boyce was preceded in death by his father William E. Lambe, his mother Clara F. Lambe and his brother Dean Lambe.
He is survived by his son Brad Lambe (Jeanie), Rod Lambe (Kathryn), sister Jeanne Chadwick (Gary), nephews Doug Chadwick (Lara) and Dan Chadwick (Amy), 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00pm at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery, 820 15th St SW, Edmonds, WA 98020.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the research for Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease.
