David "Herk" J. Buchanan, born February 12, 1947, in Lebanon, Ohio, passed away on April 23, 2016. The family of David will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 12 Noon - 2:00 PM with a service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM. I watched herk play bball at the old gym in kings mills when I was a kid sitting in those bleachers. We used to chant "we want a hundred" and they often came through.
