Ellen Bode Obituary
Ellen M. (nee Thornton) Beloved wife of the late George J. Bode for 52 years, dear mother of George (the late Maureen) Bode, the late Marlene (the late Roy) Schwab, John (Peggy) Bode, Mary (Pat) Raleigh, the late Steve (Kim) Bode, Susan (Ron) Ball, and Jeanine (Gary) Scheidler. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Sister of the late James Thornton and the late Gertrude Wocher and step brother Ray Dietz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ellen passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the age of 93. She died peacefully in her sleep. Visitation Friday January 20th from 9AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10AM at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 3172 South Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45248. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati. www.neidhardminges.com
