Joe and his family welcomed me into their lives. I became a part of his extended family which deeply touched my heart. He was a kind and quiet man. He had a gentle sense of humor which always made me laugh. I'll never forget his smile and his kindness.

We called him the Senator because he was such a classy guy, but he was much more than classy - he was kind and funny and loving. He and Jo Ann shared a big, happy and loving extended family, and he will be sorely missed. I hope that as the sadness of losing him passes, they will be able to enjoy the many happy memories. I am holding you in my thoughts and in my heart, Jo Ann. I'll miss him too.
Love,
Janie

Joe was such a classy guy that we nicknamed him "The Senator." But he was much more than classy; he was loving and smart and kind, and my dear friend Jo Ann has suffered a terrible loss with his passing. Their whole extended family will miss him so much - I just hope that as the deep sadness of losing him eases, all of them will be able to focus on the many, many happy times they shared with Joe. I am keeping you in my thoughts and in my heart, Jo Ann.
Love,
Janie
