John Williams Obituary
Dr. John A. Williams, beloved husband for 58 years of Mary (nee Vennemeyer) Williams, loving father of Mary (Todd) Heskett, John (Sarah) Williams, cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, John and James Heskett, and Jack, George and Drew Williams. John passed away at home on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the age of 85. Born in Bellevue, Kentucky to the late John Williams and Mildred (nee Riley) Williams and preceded in death by his sister, Pegge Langemeier. Founded the John A. Williams, M.D. medical practice in Delhi, renamed West Side Pediatrics, the practice expanded to include an office in Bright, Indiana. John provided kind and compassionate care for his patients and their families as a member of the medical staff at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Bethesda Hospital, Christ Hospital and Jewish Hospital. Graduated from St. Xavier High School Class of 1948, University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy Class of 1952, served in the United States Army, and University of Cincinnati Medical School Class of 1959. Served as Chief Resident Cincinnati General Hospital and completed residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in 1962. Past President of Cincinnati Pediatric Society, first Director of Poison Control Center of Cincinnati, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and served on Admissions Committee for the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Member of Veteran Apothecaries Association of Cincinnati, Westwood Cheviot Kiwanis, Cincinnati Art Club and St Vincent De Paul Society. Visitation Thursday, August 11, 2016 at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Road, 45238 from 9 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am. I used to babysit for the Williams Children when I was in High school.
Also,my first job as a Nurse was working in Dr. William's office.
Dr. William's was always so kind, saddened to hear of his passing.
Mary and John were always very kind to me and my family.
He will be missed by many.

We will always remember John as a very kind and patient man.
He would challenge us occasionally with the 1903 Buick & 1929 Ford.
Ed and I often reflect all the wonderful folks we got to know over the years and the Williams Family is at the top.

Dr Williams was my pediatrician, and he was always so kind and compassionate. His patience was amazing. My mom loved him and trusted his wisdom for her children. She had also been one of his patients growing up. We loved going to the little house in Delhi to see our favorite Dr. He has indeed left an impression on my heart, and an endearing legacy.
