Dowling
Mary Frances Dowling, 72, a child of God, a resident of Lake City, Florida, died November 13, 2013 in Florida. Fran served as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines for 29 years. She was an active church member and helped many persons in need and was always available to pray with all persons who sought her help. Fran was fortified with the Last Sacraments. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Alvera Riedmatter and her brother Joe Riedmatter. Fran is survived by her husband Earl Dowling; her daughters Heather Godwin of Hollywood, Fl. and Julie Knowless of Madison, Ala.; her 5 grandchildren and her brother Carl Riedmatter and her sisters Paula Perrino and Bette Riedmatter. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 11 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Fort Thomas, Ky. The Dobbling, Muehlenkamp & Erschell Funeral Home is serving the Family locally. Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Parish (Tuition Assistance), 500 East Villa Pl., Ft. Thomas, Ky. 41075. Earl,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Words cannot express our feelings & we can only imagine what you must be feeling. We were so blessed to have Fran in our lives, even for a little while. She was a wonderful, witty woman. She will be missed. Sunday, Dec 1 the Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Mission will be said for the repose of her soul.
