SPARKS

Melvin "Sparky" Sparks, 91, of Petersburg, KY passed away September 18, 2016. He was a Farmer and a member of Petersburg Baptist Church. He is survived by his Wife of 62 Years Marie Sparks, 2 Daughters Susan (David) Smith and Nancy Hinkle, 3 Sisters Jean Sparks, Mary Lou Perry, and Margaret Tingle, 2 Grandchildren Dana Burns and Derrick Smith, and 4 Great Grandchildren Arden & Sloane Burns and Braylon & Emmelynn Smith. Funeral Service will be at 12 PM, Friday September 23 at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US 42, Florence, KY 41042. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Burial will be in Beaver Lick Christian Cemetery, Walton, KY. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 240 Whittington Parkway, Louisville, KY 40222.
