Patsy Chaney Obituary
Patsy Layne Chaney (nee: Auxier), 64, entered eternal life at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY on Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was a special education teacher in Boone and Kenton Counties, a member of Crossroads Church and Children's Advocate. She was preceded in death by her parents: Freddie and Barbara Auxier, her brother Everett Auxier and brother-in-law Robert Bullock. Patsy will be dearly missed by her husband, Tom Chaney, of 41 years of Florence, KY; her sons: Andrew Chaney of Burlington, KY and Brady (Brittany Kelley) Chaney of Bowling Green, KY; siblings: Betty Bullock of Lexington, KY, Ted (Peggy) Auxier of Cynthiana, KY and Judy (Charles) Lee of Mt. Sterling, KY; granddaughter Karys Goswick-Chaney of Burlington, KY as well as many family members and friends. First visitation will be held at Linnemann Funeral Home and Event Center in Burlington on Monday evening, January 11, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Second visitation will be held at First Church in Burlington, KY on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 with Funeral Service to Follow at 11:30AM and burial at Burlington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society: 297 Buttermilk Pike-Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Online Condolences to www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com.

Tom and Family, I worked with Patsy at Goodridge Elementary for many years. She was a wonderful advocate for the children, a talented teacher and a friend to all she met. She will be missed.
