Adam Steward Obituary

Adam Steward, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 26, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. He was born to the late Adam Stewart, Sr. and Arah Mae Washington on January 9, 1941. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and was a retired Longshoreman. Left to cherish his memories are 2 children, Marla and Adam, 4 grandchildren, Miles, Maia, Amanda and Alexandria; a devoted ex-wife, Audry; a sister, Shandra; a daughter-in-law, Diana, and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie Steward, and a grandson, Adam Stewart IV. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the home going celebration on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117. Visitation at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Louis Cemetery #3 Charbonnet Labat Glapion, Directors (504) 581-4411
