Agnes Burke Friedman

Agnes Burke Friedman, on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10:40 PM at the age of 97. Survived by her daughter, Mary Lynne Friedman; grandchildren, Charles Nissell, Jr., Laura Nissell and Leslie Nissell Chassaniol; and great grandchildren, John Michael Chassaniol, Alison Chassaniol and Isabel Aksimsek. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daniel Friedman, Sr.; her son and his wife, Joseph Daniel Friedman, Jr. and Katherine Anderson Friedman; her parents, Isabelle Cochran Burke and Daniel J. Burke; a brother, Daniel J. Burke, Jr.; and a sister, Isabelle Burke Ellis. Mrs. Friedman, a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA, was co-founder with her late husband and son of Jobbers Oil Transport Company, Inc. and also was a member of St. Dominic Parish and supporter of Immaculate Conception Church. A Private Family Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 27, 2005. Interment will be private in St. Patrick #3 Cemetery. Masses or donations to the charity of your choice, preferred.
