Knew him since Wright Junior High School and Whitey was always a great guy and should get a fast pass to heaven. He and I always laughed because he never forgot that my Dad always use to tell him that he couldn't sing very well. Whitey was one of the best. May he Rest In Peace.

RIP Whitey. You will be missed and never replaced in the hearts of many "uptowners." God bless!

Right now my eyes will not stop watering for you my big brother Whitey. I am the oldest of 6 and have always wanted to know what it was like to have a big brother. Then you entered the life of our family over 60 years ago, and have always looked up to you as my big brother. You sense of humor and support for me and my whole family is something that I will always remember and cherish. I remember when I got orders to go to Vietnam how much you encouraged me and to be brave. Well my faith in God and your encouragement got me through it. I have never forgotten that my brother. When we started our reunions several years ago, you came with that all-pleasing sense of humor and continued to show your love you always had for all of your friends. I will never, ever forget, nor will stop loving you, my big brother.

You meant so much to me Whitey and I always loved you as a big brother. You were always funny and very supportive to me and all my family. Right now I am so dumbfounded that I don't know what else to say except that I will always miss you and love you and cherish our times together my brother.

RIP Whitey, you will be greatly missed. We have been friends for more than 60 years. You were the best friend EVER. You were like a brother. You always made a point to call me for every holiday. I am going to miss all of your crazy hugs and kisses. There will never be another friend that could replace you.
