Albertine Robinson

On January 27, 1952, Albertine Jones Robinson also known as Tina, was the last born to the union of the late Kelly Jones Sr. and Albertine Dapmore Jones in New Orleans, Louisiana. She departed this life and entered into eternal rest on November 6, 2022. Albertine accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at an early age at First Zion Baptist Church by the late Rev. Dempsey Ivory. She later joined Calvary Baptist Church in Kenner, LA, under the pastorship of the late Rev. O.C. Robinson. Albertine formally graduated from Riverdale High School in 1970. She married Randolph Robinson and from this union, 3 children were born: Zabrina Robinson, Keith Robinson and Helena Robinson and later married Isaac Cyres in 1987. In 1989, she began her faithful employment at Haynes Middle School and retired after 28 years of dedicated service to the Jefferson Parish Public School System as the head cook. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Sr. and Albertine Jones, her husband Isaac Cyres, three brothers, Kelly Jones, Roy Lee Jones, and Gilbert Jones. Tina's memories will be forever cherished in the hearts of her children, Zabrina Robinson, Keith Robinson (Danielle) and Helena Robinson, her sisters, Linda Riley, Bernadine Sykes, Rita Dawson (J.C.), Lorraine Collier (Robert), and her brother, Melvin Jones, 6 grandchildren, Isaac Jenkins, Zalayna Jenkins, Christian O'neal, Keira Robinson, Zachary Fisher, and Kira Robinson, one great-grandchild Ahlani Jenkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Calvary Church, 929 S. Sibley Street, Metairie, LA for 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, Metairie, LA. Pastor James E. Turner, Officiating.
