Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring. Until we meet again, my dear Aunt Alice. You were one of those people that seemed as if they'd live forever. I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with you through the years. Your house was always a refuge for me, I knew I could always come to New Orleans and relax at your house. Your doors and pantry were always open.
No matter how many friends we brought with us, you welcomed everyone and treated them as if they were your own. I don't have words to truly express how much you mean to me. I am glad you are no longer suffering but this is such a tremendous loss for our family.
My love and prayers go out to Sandra, Stanley and all the grandchildren. May we all find some comfort in knowing that you are in Heaven with our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the almighty Father, the one who knows our every sorrow and has counted our tears and promises He will wipe each tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more.
