Allyson Elizabeth Collins

Allyson Elizabeth Collins, 46 years, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. at her home in Thibodaux, LA. Beloved daughter of Shirley S. Collins and the late Harold V. Collins, Sr. Sister of Harold V. Collins Jr., Christine C. Hypolite, Carolyn J. Stokes, Sylvia Johnson, Edna Ricard and the late Andrew Johnson. She is also survived by a devoted brother-in-law of Shelby Hypolite. Niece of Willie A. Hughes, Edward Collins, Doris Tollett and Vera Goodman. Goddaughter of Barbara Benn. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Patricia Estrada and staff for years of caring services. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of St. John A.M.E. Church (N.O.), Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church (Thibodaux), St. Joseph and St. Luke Catholic Churches (Thibodaux), Asbury United Methodist Church (N.O.) and all surrounding churches are invited. Nicholls State University, Bayou Land Families Helping Families, and Metropolitan Development Center are also invited to attend the wake. Service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Thibodaux, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John A.M.E. Church, 1017 Bellville St., Algiers, LA.
