CULLEN Anita Waguespack Cullen entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 8:05am at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Beloved wife of Curtis J. Cullen, Jr. Mother of Maureen (David) Pizzolato, Allison (Charles) Cullen, Curt (Bobbi) Cullen, Dori (Scott) Porter and the late Kelley (Steve) Songy. Daughter of the late Otis Jean and Anita Marie Waguespack. Daughter-in-law of Curtis J., Sr. and the late Doris Cullen. Sister of Aimee (Shug) Becnel, Jean Otis Waguespack, Lucille Gravois and Janet Bonvillian. Grandmother of David Pizzolato, Jr., Cullen Gordon, Curtis ""C.J.'' and Caitlyn Cullen, Haley Porter and Hannah Songy. A native of Vacherie, and a resident of Luling, LA. Age 64 years. She was a retired school teacher for St. Charles Parish School System. Mrs. Cullen was instrumental in starting the Adult Education System for St. Charles Parish. She was a graduate of St. James High School. She earned a Masters Degree in Education at USL. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Altar Society and the church choir where she had a love for music. She was a volunteer for the Madere's Children Advocacy Center and a HOST Mentor with the St. Charles Parish School System. Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, LA on January 4, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will be in St. Charles Mausoleum.
