Ann Canovsky Obituary

Ann Barone Bavido Canovsky faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Savior on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at the age of 96. Ann was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1917 to the late Joseph Barone and Mary Engolia Barone. She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Samuel Anthony Bavido, and Nathan Canovsky. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Antoinette Barone Canzoneri, and her sons, Samuel Bavido Sr. and John Bavido, (infant). Ann is survived by her daughter, Joy Bavido Pecoraro, and six grandchildren; Brian Bavido, Samuel Bavido Jr., (Chaille), Christy Bavido Salaun, (Kenney), Albert J Rebennack, (Ellie), Lisa Ann Rebennack, and Wayne D. Pecoraro. She will be greatly missed by her 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beloved family and friends. Ann was also a long time employee of Godchaux's clothing store on Canal St. Services will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. New Orleans. Visitation will be held on Monday October 14, from 11am till 1pm with funeral services starting at 1pm. Burial will follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans.

MAMA TEE, I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT YOUR PASSING. YOU ARE THE MOST RELIGIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL LADY I HAVE EVER KNOWN IN MY LIFE. JOY AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY ALL WAYS TREATED US AS ONE OF YOUR OWN AND WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS LOVE YOU MAMA TEE DOTTY LUCKOW KRASNOFF.
