I remember going to Mr. and Mrs. Zuppardo´s house as a child 40 years ago to have sandwiches and tea with my parents, Jere and Lauren Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Zuppardo were such generous and nice people. I can recall my fondness for them, even as a child.

Deepest
Sympathy to the Zuppardo Family. Shopping at your Metairie store was among
the happiest experiences of life in New Orleans before Katrina took us away,
and Mr. Tony and the Zuppardo family represent the best, friendliest and
most genuine New Orleanians. God bless you. Paula Stratton and Mark Andresen

Our Families prayers are with your family. I remember as a child in the 70's going with grandma to pick her check up at Economical's and her boss would give me an ice cream sandwich. Grandma Eleanore Haggerty worked there for years. Such a nice person as I remember. We will pray for the families heart ache.

The Zuppardo Family,

Mr.Tony, as I always called him since I first met him when I was nine years old, was always a kind and friendly man up until the last time I saw him in the Vets store when I came back to Louisiana to do repairs to my home after Katrina. He always remembered me as I will always remember him in my prayers and am so happy that God has finally called him to be with his beloved Frances.
Celebrate his life and honor his legacy.
My love to all, Irma
