Barbara June Meyer

Barbara June Meyer passed away at the age of 83 on May 22, 2015 at her residence in Santa Barbara, California where she lived for the past year. She had made Slidell, LA her home for 13 years prior to relocating in California. She was born on July 28, 1931 to Harry and Beulah Foster in Hoisington, KS. Survivors include her children Kathy Meyer of Santa Barbara; Doug Meyer (Mary Beth) of Slidell; Brad Meyer (Karin) of Kansas City and David Meyer (Cheryl) of Los Angeles, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters, Shirley Gurley of Oklahoma and Roma Oswalt of California as well as many nieces and nephews. A private interment service will be held at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on June 13, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 4947 N.E. Chouteau Dr., Kansas City, MO 64119.
