Dear Plapp family,
on August 27th, 2017 my mom, Nina Kelley Katan passed away. Mom often talked about the adventures she and Betty had in their youth. Crossing a stream they thought was frozen over, riding bicycles hanging on to the ice truck? Mom treasured Betty as a very special friend. I am honored to have met Betty as i was growing up, and truly appreciated getting to see your beautiful farm. So many wonderful memories. Best to her family, a truly special lady and friend to my mom. Love to all

A matriarch full of quiet love and caring for everyone, even us neighbors! Took us in as part of her family "doings". Shared her strong faith. Active & giving, a superb cook and baker. Thoughtful, patient. Always reached out to children. Brought smiles to our faces continually! And we loved her back so much. Blessings to all of Betty's fun and precious family. Wonderful memories❣
