I can still hear him asking, when a patient told him they felt "funny", " Funny ha ha or funny hmmm?". We have lost a great man who was loved by so many and made his mark by sharing his knowledge of Paramedicine with so many.

We crossed on scene a few times. It's a pity our exchanges were usually short, I usually figure there are other times for pleasantries.

I never had the pleasure of knowing you Brian, and that was my loss. I do however, remember crossing paths with you at scenes. You were always very professional and a good medic. My heart goes out to your family and your EMS family as well. There is another outstanding medic in heaven who was taken too soon.

Brian was one of the best medics I've had the pleasure of working with. I knew when he brought me a patient, into the ER, he had provided the best care possible. It was most definitely a privilege and an honor to call him "friend." He will be greatly missed. Praying for all of his family.
