I want to send our deepest sympathy to the Woods' family. My three brothers and I are all graduates of Brother Martin and my older brother, James, and I both knew Brian well. I was a member of the Dionysians along with Brian and worked on many plays with him. I also was a "rodie" for the Wall Penguins for many of their concerts at Jimmy's and the Daquiri Shop in Kenner. Brian was always a smiling face and made everyone feel welcome. It was a pleasure to have known him in and out of school. Please know that the entire Maumus Family will keep all of you in our prayers.

May God bless you and your family at this time of great sorrow. I always admired Brian for his loving strong ways and looked at your children as very close to my heart and still do. I will remember most his smile! He accomplished much on his short visit in this life. May your loving family be surrounded by HIS love! If there is any way I may help please call! Linda

Even as a child, Brian was "a man". He had a quality that was compelling. He was gentle, kind, intelligent, and genuine. There is sadness in giving him up, but there is joy in the opportunity of having known him, if only for awhile.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Woods family on the loss of Brian. I knew him when he was a child when I worked with his mother at Ochsner-Brian and I shared a birthday. You will all be remembered in my thoughts and prayers.

Brian was one of my close friends at Brother Martin. Our friendship continued at LSU where we roomed together for several years. I have many fond and fun memories about Brian. I will miss him greatly. My sympathies go out to his family.

I want to express my sincere condolences to the Woods family. I remember meeting Brian as freshman at Brother Martin and following his band play as seniors. He will be missed by all.
