CAROL MUTTERPERL Obituary

Carol Wynn Mutterperl Loving mother and grandmother, of Bayonne Carol Wynn Mutterperl (nee Carlson) lost her brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Services will be held on Friday, April 14, at 2 p.m. at the chapel at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, N.J. Born in Bayonne, N.J., the daughter of Herbert and Henrietta Carlson, Carol spent most of her adult life living, building a family, and working in Bayonne. She was an artist and thespian; some of her fondest memories were her days at Jersey City State College (now NJCU) participating in plays and studying the nuances of theater. Carol worked for many years in the food service industry and spent years making friends and helping others enjoy their day at the Goodwill Restaurant on Broadway. Carol used her dramatic talents and love for the English language working in the Bayonne school system for the last 17 years. She most enjoyed her time working with young people who were learning English as a second language and those in home instruction. Carol raised three sons that she adored, but considered her grandchildren, Ryan, Dan, Stella, Charlie and Mia, the lights of her life. She was at her happiest and most content when she was spending time being Grandma Carol. There wasn't a movie she wouldn't sit through, a toy that someone wanted that she would buy or a band recital she didn't make. Carol was a force to be reckoned with, beloved by her family and friends and will be truly missed. She leaves behind three sons, Mitchell (Marygrace), Max (Abby), and Carl (Elana) Billek, and the lights of her life.

Guys, so sorry for your loss. Please know that whenever I saw your mom she always gave me an update on her boys and grandkids. She clearly cherished her family.

God bless Carol Mutterperl's family. My deepest sympathy to you all. I knew her through working at Bayonne High School. Carol made it a point to get to know many students. She cared deeply about each student and assignment she covered. - Mrs Deborah Grysko, Bayonne.
