Charlie Epps, Jr., a beloved pillar of strength and kindness, entered into eternal rest on September 16, 2024, at the age of 88. Born to the late Charlie Epps, Sr. and Fannie Mae Cobbins, he was a man of unwavering faith, deep family values, and a heart full of love. He was the devoted husband of the late Melvina Epps, his loving partner of many years, who passed away in 2001. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy, raising their children with the same devotion they had for each other. He was a cherished father to Yolanda Epps Martin (Phillip), Alvin Wayne Epps (Phyllis), Cassandra Epps, and Michele Epps Kuykindall (Chris). His wisdom, humor, and warmth live on in his 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as in the treasured memories of nieces, nephews, and countless others whose lives he touched. Family and friends are invited to attend a Service Celebrating his life on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, for 11:00 a.m. at Mount Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church, 3756 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA 70126 Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Darrick Johnson, officiating.
