Clarence R. Campbell, Sr. died on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Veteran's Hospital, New Orleans, LA. Son of the late Viola Lucas and Arthur Campbell, Sr. Husband of Ovelena J. Campbell and the late Joyce D. Campbell. Father of Neatrice Roussell, Clarence, Jr. (Yolander) and Randall (Katrina) Campbell, Diara and Rubina Grant. Brother of Edna Bridges, Lionel and Brenda Campbell, the late Velma C. Howard, Thelma C. Bradley, Rosemary C. Washington, Roger and Author, Jr. Campbell. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 76 years. A native Killona, LA and resident of Luling, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of St. Matthew and New Union of Taft Baptist Churches and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 604 E S Johnson Street, New Sarpy, LA on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Herman Bailey, Sr., Interim Pastor, Bishop Otis Kenner, Pastor of New Union of Taft, LA Officiating. Interment: Killona Rest Haven Cemetery, Killona, LA. Visitation at the above named church from 9:00 a.m. until service time only.
