Clarence Leon Obituary

Clarence Leon, a kind and generous person, a father figure to many, departed shockingly and unexpectantly into eternal rest on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his home at the age of 69. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Clarence was the son of the late Alvin E. Leon, Sr. and Ursula Doris Jacques Leon. He was the third son of six boys and eight girls. Clarence was a devoted and loving husband to Madeline Randolph Leon, dedicated father to Danielle Leon Roberts, Monique Jason and Dana Lindsey, grandfather to Stanley Morgan, Jr. and Chloe Roberts; father-in-law to Cecil Roberts; Godchildren: Tymetrius Jones, Fallon Leon, Natasha Leon, Lawrence Galle, III,, Tyrone Leon, Jr, Tyler Leon; brothers: Alvin E. Leon, Jr. (Maxine), Tommie (Wookie) Leon, Nathaniel Leon, Sr. (Lauren), Tyrone Leon; sisters Joyce Bunch, Ivory Lewis (Donald, Sr.) Claudia Leon, Felicia Leon, Toni Garner, Jennifer Aramburo (Alden) , Joan Leon and Virgie Leon (Damon Davenport); sisters-in-law Phillis Johnson, Diana Spriggens (Robert); Louise DeBose (Gregory, Sr.), Hope Marshall (Bruce), Faith Randolph Warner (Lionel); brothers-in-law Henry Randolph, Sr. (Melissa) and Leonard Randolph, Sr., a great hosts of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and close devoted friends and associates. Clarence attained his education in the Orleans Parish School System. He was a skilled industrious worker and master in his trade as a sheetrock finisher and painter. He was a Supervisor in the Engineering Department at the Louisiana Superdome (now the Caesars Superdome). He was a member of Local Painters Union 1244 until his retirement. Relatives and friends, family members, priests and parishioners are invited to A Celebration of Life remembering and honoring the Life of Clarence Leon at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Friday, November 18, 2022. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am. Due to Covid-19, the family requests that all attendees wear a face mask. Intermittent: Mt.
